How does a code work?

• Almost all programming languages work the same way: You write code to tell it what to do: print("Hello, world"). The code is compiled, which turns it into machine code the computer can understand.

coding is used for communicating with computers. People use coding to give computers and other machines instructions on what actions to perform. Further, we use it to program the websites, apps, and other technologies we interact with every day.

before understanding how a code work, you need to understand how does a computer understand a codea computer understand a code

The computer itself only understands binary and the instruction set hardwired into the processor.

 So the programming language itself isn't understood by the computer. What happens is the compiler/interpreter/VM translates your semi-human programming language into machine code.

So,to interact with you device you need programming languages such as

•  java (For Android development)
• python (for AI development)
• C++  
• Kotlin (for Android development)

and many other. They can be used directly, for example in case of python .

Their is python shell (IDLE)

But you can use an intermediate platform or a software to connect with your device. Their are many softwares for use, such as 

• Visual studio code ( By Microsoft)
• PyCharm
• Jupiter
• Atom
• Android Studio Code ( for Android development) eg. Java, kotlin
•  Notepad++

And many others

But the IDLE are used for simple experimental coding and can't be saved

But to do high level program  you need to use an intermediate software/platform, using this you can save you file/project
